Questions about TIFF and ICO.

Check the format behavior, limitations, and follow-up options before processing a real file.

When the master copy of a logo lives in a TIFF archive, converting it straight to .ico skips an intermediate export: FileMorf decodes the TIFF, renders the standard 16-256px icon sizes, and packs them into one PNG-compressed .ico with any alpha channel preserved. Non-square images are scaled and centered on a transparent square canvas, so a square-ish crop of the mark gives the cleanest favicon.
