Crisp uses fal-ai/recraft/upscale/crisp — a faithful upscale that stays close to the original. Clarity uses fal-ai/clarity-upscaler, which reconstructs more aggressively at higher credit cost. Both can invent or alter fine detail, so inspect the preview before using the result.
What does AI Enhance cost?
AI upscales use credits: Crisp costs 1 credit per image; Clarity costs at least 2 and scales with output size (about 1 credit per 2.5 output megapixels). A free account includes monthly credits — no card required to try it.
Which image formats are supported?
PNG, JPG, and WebP work with AI Enhance. If your photo is in another format (like HEIC), convert it first — the converter runs in your browser too.
