Conversion surface

Run the file task now.

The converter stays fast and simple. Workspace features only step in when retention, OCR, or repeat work actually adds value.

OCR runs on our secure servers.

Recognizing text in scans takes a full OCR engine, so this tool processes files in an isolated server job over TLS and deletes them automatically. A free account includes 20 OCR pages per month — no card required.

How it works

A short path from input to finished export.

The flow stays simple so you can get in, finish the job, and move on without extra setup.

Upload Scans

Drag in scanned PDFs or photos (PNG, JPG, WebP, TIFF).

2

Pick the Language

Choose the document's language so the engine reads it accurately.

Get a searchable PDF and a plain-text file, plus the text right in your browser.

Why FileMorf

A cleaner route for this conversion.

The tool keeps the core job lightweight while still giving you room to grow into retained, higher-value workflows later.

Searchable PDF Output

Your original pages come back with an invisible text layer, so the document looks identical but becomes searchable, selectable, and indexable.

14 Languages

English, Spanish, French, German, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, Russian, and more — matching the language boosts accuracy significantly.

Honest Results

Low-confidence pages are flagged, skipped pages are reported, and nothing is silently dropped — you always know what the OCR engine saw.

The important questions, plus the nearby routes users usually need next.

It's your original scanned pages with an invisible text layer added on top. The document looks exactly the same, but you can now search it, select and copy text, and index it in document systems.

Clean, well-lit scans in a supported language typically recognize very accurately. Handwriting, low-resolution photos, and unusual fonts reduce accuracy — pages with low confidence are flagged in the result so you know what to double-check.

A free account includes a monthly OCR page allowance, and paid plans include more. Individual documents are processed up to 50 pages per run — split larger files and run the parts separately.

Files are transferred over TLS, processed in an isolated server job, and deleted automatically after the download window. We never read or retain your documents.
