Share photos, not your location history.

The plan

  1. 1Convert to JPG
  2. 2Strip metadata

Verified after the run

  • Every output is JPG or JPEG
  • One output for every input file
  • No EXIF or GPS metadata remains in the outputs

Every step runs locally in your browser. The verification receipt is generated on your device and is yours to keep or share.

About this workflow

Convert photos (including iPhone HEIC) to clean JPGs and strip EXIF and GPS metadata. Verification re-inspects every output and confirms no metadata remains. Runs entirely in your browser.

Questions

What metadata gets removed?

EXIF blocks — camera details, timestamps, and GPS coordinates — are removed, and the verification step re-parses each output to confirm nothing readable remains. The receipt records the check.

Does this reduce photo quality?

Photos are re-encoded to JPG at quality 90, which is visually lossless for sharing. Metadata removal itself costs no quality.

Do HEIC photos from iPhone work?

Yes — HEIC decodes in your browser and converts straight to JPG.
